This project provides a new garage and a more well-defined entry for a much-loved house designed by Bligh Graham Architects. A common paving language drawn from the existing bluestone gabion walls provides the unifying link between the existing and new parts of the garden.
Walking from the visitor parking to the front door will now be an enticing experience, moving through a landscape which borrows its backdrop from the gnarly gums of the Brisbane River bank.
The refreshed planting palette draws from the vegetation transition from eucalypt slopes to riparian zone.
Construction will be completed by the end of 2016.
