In California, a first-of-its-kind residential complex designed for people living with autism includes a quiet, gentle landscape design that provides a sense of security, without being shut off from the world.

The planting palette is carefully researched, providing clear lines of sight, and minimising anything - jarring colours, contrasting scents - that might cause confusion or sensory overload.
